Small classical-only independent record club, based in Elizabeth St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in the mid-1960s, issuing, as the name suggests, LPs at the rate of one LP per month. It was acquired by World Record Club in late 1967. WRC renamed it The Record Club, offering WRC members their LPs, solely in stereo, at $2.70 each. WRC started using the new 3001 postcode for its Newsletter in August 1967 - the last Record Of The Month Club LP issued with the C1 postcode for Melbourne was S/115.
