- Ape Music was established in 2006, by Ben & Lex, from the ashes of the successful south west club night of the same name. After nearly ten years as residents at 'Beatz & Bobz' (one of the country's longest running breaks nights) and at 'Ape' and having had many releases on other labels such as Functional, Silo, Drum & Breaks and Wut Eva to name a few. Ben & Lex are no strangers to what makes a good tune so they decided it was time for them to get out there and start their own label.
