- As electronic music continues to soar in not only mainstream acceptance, but also commercial viability, the recent years have seen a wave of tracks descend upon us, from across all possible sub-genres, with bass and house music genres having become particularly popular. As we know, quantity does not equate to quality, and the current sea of music that many of us swim in is murky with uninspiring and unoriginal tunes, making it hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. With many labels falling victim to band-wagonning whatever style is popular at a particular time, very few have been able to become known for consistent quality output.
Along comes ZENTA, a label whose goal is to aid in the spread of music that will have an even further reach than its peer labels, off the back of exciting releases from various promising and established artists.
With a global artist roster, and a diverse selection of genres to work with, the label has at its helm a team of experienced label operators, whose resumes already include putting other indie dance labels on the map. With such previous labels having found a place within the discussion of important sources of quality electronic music, ZENTA’s future looks nothing but promising. Expect nothing but on-point A&R, and a careful attention to what gets released and what doesn’t.
Its intention is to lay focus on promoting and releasing the kind of serious music that you can expect from any top electronic label, and will in time surely rise to such a level also.
