Реакция на LP "All Star Festival" ООН начала поступать из разных уголков мира. Этот диск, который распространяется Philips International по всему миру и Mercury Records в США, в некоторых странах считается одним из самых продаваемых альбомов за всю историю.

В альбоме представлены треки таких международных звезд, как Луи Армстронг, Морис Шевалье, Нэт Коул, Бинг Кросби, Дорис Дэй, Элла Фицджеральд, Махалия Джексон, Нана Мускури, Патти Пейдж, Луис Альберт Де Парана, Эдит Пиаф, Энн Шелтон и Катерина Валенте. Артисты, дистрибьюторы и даже в некоторых случаях продавцы получают мало или вообще не получают прибыль от альбома, при этом львиная доля средств идет УВКБ ООН для поддержки около 13 миллионов бездомных душ.
